Violet Tide

Violet Tide brings together two flowers that could hardly be more different.

Naupaka grows wild along Hawaiʻi’s coastlines, unfussy and resilient, thriving in salt air and rough conditions with little more than what the land gives it. Orchid asks for something different, delicate, particular, and dependent on care to fully bloom. And yet, every so often, you’ll find an orchid growing wild, too.

Together, rendered in soft periwinkle blues, these flowers tell a story of two ways of blooming here: the natural and the hard won, the wild and the carefully tended.
